Introduced in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-specific domain name extension is quite popular both within the country and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for building inventive and appealing domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to create an easy-to-learn domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to return to your website or to give it with coworkers and pals. The extension can also be used for a website, which is connected to the information technology sector as IT is an abbreviation, which is accepted around the world.

Given the fact that dot IT domains are not offered directly by IT-NIC, the Registry organization that manages this top-level domain extension, such a domain can be obtained through a third-party registration provider, such as ours.
